12 TIPS FOR HOLDING ONTO POSITIVITY

1. Practice gratitude & goodwill to others - there is always something and someone to be grateful for, there is always something or someone in need.  2. Watch your thoughts, are they supporting you or bringing you down. You can change a thought in a second 'I no longer allow my thoughts to scare me' keep repeating this with a breath count (found in Pocket Positivity). 3. Look outside - Focus on what you can see, the wonders and work that has gone into creating what is around us. From the moving clouds to the ugly! car park building in the distance, it is all energy we can see and surrounds us. You can lose yourself in self-hypnosis/meditation if you really look, think about how it was made or how it is moving! and what you cannot see, imagine it and it's there. 4. Become aware and recognise the many miracles that surround you in life, coincidence or a little miracle? I personally do not believe in coincidence. 5. Acknowledge and give thanks for the help and support received from friends, family, and strangers they are all your earth Angels - how lucky are we to be given them. 6. Every mouthful of food recognise, is it healing and helping? or is it destroying you! It is always your choice. 7. Laugh lots even on your own, I watched u-tube funny video's when in hospital. When watching one clip, I found it so funny the patient in the next bed asked me if I was ok - she thought I was crying I was laughing so hard tears were rolling down my cheeks and I could hardly get my breath I was laughing so hard!! 8. Watch or read inspiring stories become and feel uplifted. 9. Connect and support the foundation of your belief daily - for me this is eclectic I take passages from the Bible and Spiritual & Inspirational Quotes from everywhere - I affirm my dreams, keep a journal and believe in the power of prayer. 10. Allow yourself to let off steam and cry ... it is ok to feel afraid, lost, lonely, frustrated and sad, a good cry helps to let go and acknowledge all of the above. Then wash your face, take a deep breath and turn to a positive thought, even if it's relating to the weather.  11. Support a healthy life or your healing by helping yourself even when it hurts! There is no point other people trying to help you if you are not going to help yourself - it is our responsibility to help them help us, sometimes that means discomfort but it may be necessary. 12. Stay focused on being positive about the challenges being faced, knowing with certainty that all things come to pass - and so shall this situation and experience.
